Elizabeth represents clients in the fields of premises liability, automobile, trucking and transportation litigation, toxic tort litigation, retail and dram shop liability, and NY Labor Law 240, among others. Her clients include all types of businesses, property owners, maintenance companies, construction contractors, retailors, shipping/trucking companies, and transportation operators.
Ms. Driscoll also has extensive experience defending cases involving allegations of fraud at all levels. These cases have involved staged accidents, exaggerated injury claims, and fraud rings, as well as improper and fraudulent medical provider billing and reporting. In addition to defending these claims, Elizabeth has brought declaratory judgment actions against ring participants and suspect medical providers to bar ongoing and future claims.
Ms. Driscoll regularly works with experts and investigators to present the best defenses for her clients. As she is always looking for ways to cut down on costs and overall case valuations, Elizabeth has succeeded in vetting large Medicaid/Medicare liens, challenging their amounts, and having the liens reduced to mere fractions of their original sums.
Elizabeth was selected as part of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2021 inaugural edition, which is awarded to attorneys for outstanding professional excellence in private practice who are earlier-on in their careers. She has continued to receive this honor for her work in Insurance Law in every subsequent edition.
Elizabeth graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and received her J.D. in 2017. While at law school, she served as an Associate Editor for the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and a research assistant for two professors. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Global Studies, completing both B.A.s and her J.D. in six years as part of an accelerated program. In her spare time, Elizabeth serves as a volunteer firefighter in her hometown in Northern New Jersey.
