Sherbune "Sher" Paul is a dynamic litigator whose practice focuses on insurance defense, premises liability, labor law, commercial litigation, landlord/tenant law and casual liability. With experience spanning both public service and private-sector advocacy, Sherbune brings a tenacious and results-driven approach to every matter she handles.

Before joining Haworth Barber & Gerstman, LLC, Sher served as a Senior Associate at Russo & Gould LLP, where she handled high-stakes defense work and appellate litigation across New York State courts. During her tenure, she earned a reputation for meticulous legal analysis and strategy, and zealous advocacy that balances client needs with risk mitigation.

Sher's legal career combines public-sector leadership and courtroom experience. Earlier, she served as Supervising Attorney in the Appeals, Recruitment, Training & Seizures Unit of the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission, overseeing complex administrative and appellate matters. She began her career with the Administration for Children's Services in New York, prosecuting cases involving child abuse and neglect-a formative role that sharpened her resolve and courtroom skills.

Sher holds a J.D. from New York Law School and earned her B.A. in Sociology and Leadership Development from Stony Brook University. She has also led community-driven initiatives as the two-time Past President of the Haitian American Lawyers Association of New York and the newly elected Vice President of the Association of Black Women Attorneys of New York.

Sherbune was recognized as one of New York City & State's "40 Under 40" Rising Stars in 2021 for excellence in legal practice, client service, and community leadership.
